Gary Marshall

Kelly Fox
Gary is a third generation comedian, son of the late great Jimmy Marshall of Granada TVs 'The Comedians'.

He took his fathers advice and became a Butlins Redcoat at Blackpool's Metropole Hotel for two seasons.

He turned pro in 1987 and toured with several comedians' shows acting as compere, as well as throwing in the odd gag to serve his apprenticeship.

In 1988 he was successful in his auditions for 'Bob says Opportunity Knocks' - 'it came too soon really as I was still very raw but still I loved the experience' he said.

Later that year he toured with The Drifters at top venues such as Wembley Conference Centre, Sunderland Empire, Sheffield City Hall and the Glasgow Empire.

Gary has worked the length and breadth of the country in pubs and clubs as well as entertaining the troops in Germany, Holland, Dubai, Muscat and Cyprus.

His TV credits include Sky TVs 'Stand and Deliver', ITVs 'Big Big Talent Show', Sky TVs 'The Comedians' and 'New Comedians', Bushell on the Box and Garry Bushells 'Gaggin for it!' Gary is also a regular in pantomime with three consecutive years at the Civic Theatre, Rotherham.

He is a regular entertainer at sporting dinners, golf day dinner, rotary and round table dinner where clients will often request him back year after year.
